How this started

I’ve been a G1 fan since 1984. I watched the original cartoon as a kid and grew up with the characters — Optimus Prime, Megatron, the Dinobots, all of it. But life got busy, work took over, and somehow collecting never happened.

Then in 2024, I took my son to watch Transformers One in the cinema. He loved it. Right there, we decided to start collecting together.

That changed things. What started as buying and displaying figures eventually turned into a different kind of project. Rather than just collecting for ourselves, I thought: why not build a place to share this with other G1 fans? A proper reference — figures, characters, the cartoon, all tied together in one place. That’s what G1 Guide is.
